Yemen condemns in the strongest terms the aggression of the Israeli occupying power on #Hodeida, #Yemen, in clear violation of all international laws and norms. Yemen holds the #Zionist regime fully responsible for any repercussions resulting from its air strikes, including the deepening of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, which has been exacerbated by #Houthi terrorist attacks on international shipping. Yemen warns the terrorist Houthi militias against continuing their reckless behavior that only serves the interests of the #Iranian regime and its expansionist project in the region. Yemen also warns the Iranian regime and the Zionist regime against any attempt to transform Yemen into an arena for their senseless wars and aggression. Yemen calls on the international community and the UN Security Council to assume their responsibilities in order to protect international peace and security. Yemen stresses that the only way to achieve peace is to support the Yemeni government and state institutions and to implement the UN Security Council resolutions, especially Resolution 2216. Yemen also renews its firm support for the Palestinian people and for the establishment of an independent viable Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
